Miss Nola founded and is the sole owner of Fluid Motion Dance Academy. She started FMDA in her basement teaching a few classes on Saturday Mornings in January of 2020. Sharinging her lifelong dream and passion, it wasn't a surprise  that classes grew quickly, and so did our team. Miss Nola created another studio room in her basement and hired her first teacher in August 2020, Miss Maddy. By the end of our first full year, surviving covid-19, virtual classes, hybrid classes, classes in giant boxes, we had grown to 100 students and outgrown our basement. Within that first real season we even competed with a team of 17 students at 4 regional competitions and had our 2 first recitals! During the midst of a fun & busy first season, we searched high and low for a new space we could afford and when we found our new home, it came at the perfect time and in the perfect location. Our current 3500 square foot studio home is literally right outside the neighborhood of Miss Nola’s House. Since moving into our new location and completing our first full season in these doors and second full season in business, we now have grown to over 230 students, 3 incredible programs for kids and adults, 8 faculty members, and 2 back house managers. We are so thankful for all the families that have supported us and that continue to support us and can not thank you enough. At Fluid Motion Dance Academy we truly feel like one family, it is where we teach, dance & train from the heart.
