Arrival, Check in/out: please arrive 1 hour early dressed and ready for first routine, Students will be dismissed from the stage, 1 parent must come to the stage, if a male is picking up student, please wait out side of dressing room and student will be brought to you once they get their things. If in multiple shows,dancer will stay checked in, please have dancers bring appropriate Water, Snacks, Dinner. Dancers should have had Breakfast and Lunch before arriving. Dancers can briefly mingle between shows in auditorium, however must be back before 30 minutes top of each show to line up with teams and go through their routines together.
Parking:Follow Signs for "Purser Center", LOT 4. Signage on the Building says "William D Purser Center".
Tickets:5 tickets to each show your dancer(s) are in included in showcase fee., these will be emailed week of performance. EXTRA Tickets can be purchasedHERE(link available, 1/13/25)
Dressing Room Etiquette: -please have proper undergarments under costumes! skin tone tights and skin tone leotard is required in dressing room area. - Only cups/water bottles with fully sealed caps/lids. Please only food/snacks that are not costume hazards and have something to wear over costume if eating lunch/snacks. Suggested food: sandwiches, granola / protein bars, crackers, carrots/bell peppers, apples/bananas/ grapes, seeds, jerkey sticks, gogarts. -NO CELLS PHONE USAGE IN DRESSING ROOM & during show. General Theater Etiquette: Please Keep the following in mind, -no flash photography or videography. -no entering/exiting auditorium during performances. -no food or non-bottled water in auditorium. -silence all cell phones -please clap and congratulate dancers
Theater Seating: Not assigned -Show 1: seats 1 hour before -Show 2: seats 30 minutes before show, though dancers arrive an hour early and will be checked in at the dressing room. -Show 3: seats 25 minutes before the show, though dancers will have arrived an hour early, almost all are in the prior show. **audience members will not be required to vacate the audience between shows. All the seats are great in the theater and there are plenty not in show 2 from show 1 that will exit for those in show 2 and not in show 1.
