At Fluid Motion Dance Academy, we teach, dance, and train from the heart. This is your home away from home, where passion meets performance. We offer more than dance classes. We provide a community, opportunities for all ages and levels, and a place to grow as an artist.
Our Mission and Values
Our mission is to provide the highest quality training in a variety of styles in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. We pride ourselves in creating a safe space for individuals to challenge themselves — while also feeling open to express themselves. This includes being committed to using age appropriate music, choreography, and costuming in all our productions. We strive to instill in our dancers core values that will help them not only in dance, but in life — discipline, respect for others and oneself, work ethic, passion, dedication, positive mindset, humility, teamwork mentality, and kindness.

At FMDA …
FMDA offers a fun, positive and safe environment for students ages 3 through adult of all skill levels to thrive in dance! No matter the age, it’s never too late to start! In our Flowy Company classes, dancers will learn fundamentals of technique in the styles they choose and will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned throughout the season in our Winter and/or Spring Showcase events.

At FMDA …
The Fluid Motion Competitive Company Company is our competitive dance program that specializes in advanced, in-depth training specific to dancers’ goals and artistic voice. We have conservatory, commercial, acro, and aerial arts training. Members of these companies have competitive performance opportunities (one to four, based on company commitment) outside dance training through master classes, summer intensives and optional conventions. They will also showcase all their hard work in FMDA showcase events throughout the season.
