Conservatory Classes
Technical mastery and artistic depth for dancers pursuing elite training
These programs emphasize precision, discipline, and performance excellence
Styles Offered:
Ballet • Contemporary • Modern • Lyrical
Our Conservatory Style Classes are designed to provide dancers with proper training in classical ballet technique as well as provide them with choreography opportunities in contemporary, lyrical, and modern styles. Students will have the opportunity to perform in our Annual Fluid Motion Nutcracker and participate in Spring Ballet. All our ballet classes are structured through use of the Cecchetti Syllabus, as members of The Cecchetti Council of America.
In our Technique Ballet Rep classes, enrollment is based on skill level, so that proper technique is developed. Classes are offered Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday.
Contemporary, Lyrical and Modern workshop classes are available the last Friday of each month, except December, sign up on the events calendar, here.

NEW for This Season
We will now offer:
- Elementary‑aged Production for Petites & Juniors
- Middle/High School Production for Pre‑Teens, Teens & Seniors
The full company will also learn an Opening/Closing Number at Intensive. This routine will be practiced once a month at All‑Company Technique. Dancers not required to attend Intensive must attend “Opening Number All‑Company Day” (Day 1 of the Fluid Motion Company Intensive). This routine will perform at showcase events and a community event but will not go to competition.
Fluid & Motion Rosters
Pre‑Teens, Teens, and Seniors will learn the same routine as a large group by age division and will perform it together at showcases, community events, and the final competition of the season. Dancers will know upon auditions which roster they are accepted into and may indicate their preference on the audition form. If a dancer shows significant growth mid‑season, we may move her from the Fluid roster to the Motion roster. Saturday rehearsals will be held leading up to re‑blocking.
All ages are required to audition and are placed based on age and skillset.
Placement, Swings & Inclusivity
If a dancer is not yet ready for a competitive company, we may recommend placement in one of our non‑competitive Flowy companies while taking the required technique classes for Fluid Motion. These dancers may also be offered a position as a Fluid Swing Company member. Swings meet all technique requirements and may be asked to step in if a dancer is injured or sick. Swings will perform in the Spring Showcase with the company.
We pride ourselves on being inclusive and tailoring each dancer’s training to meet them where they are, helping them reach their fullest potential as both dance athletes and artists. We hold our company members to a high standard to help them grow as dancers and as people.
Optional Add‑On Routines
Solos, duets, and trios are optional add‑on routines. Please indicate interest on your audition form if you are interested in any of those opportunities. Weekly privates, choreography fees, and competition fees will apply. More details can be found HERE. (An additional technique class is required.)
Cost breakdowns for all requirements can also be found HERE.
