We are looking for dancers who are interested in taking the next step in their dance journey with FMDA for our 2026-2027 Season!
We are looking for dancers with a strong work ethic, positive mindset and passion for dance.
Fluid Motion Competitive Company Audition Date & Times
**sign up based on their age as of January 1, 2027**
June 30th & July 1st
- 9:00 am-11:00 am Mini (ages 5-6) audition form HERE
- 12:00 pm -2:00 pm Petite (ages 7-8)audition form HERE
- 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm Junior (ages 9-11)audition form HERE
July 2nd & July 3rd
- 9:00 am -11:00 am Pre-Teen (ages 12-14) audition form HERE
- noon – 3:00 pm Teen/Senior (ages 15+)audition form HERE
Audition Attire:
- All black leotard, skin tone tights, dance shorts & ballet skirt.
- Shoes: Jazz, Turners, Sneakers, Ballet shoes.
- Hair: middle part low bun (girls), stlye nice (boys)
What to expect:
Whether auditioning for an Acro , Commercial or Conservatory Company we believe dancers need to be well rounded and experience multiple styles.
Therefore, regardless of the company your dancer is auditioning for, ALL prospective company members will be taken through a series of technique evaluations in Ballet, Jazz and Acro styles.
Further, dancers will learn 3 mini combos in contemporary, jazz and hip hop. Do not worry if you are auditioning for conservatory companies in ballet / contemporary style and have never done hip hop. It will not count against you, Same thing goes for all the genres.
We want to see the dancers try it all. It gives us feedback on how they will overcome challenges and is a good learning experience. So many of the style cross over and through being exposed it will only make them all more dynamic artists in the genres that do interest them most. Who knows it may spark another style interest that in fact brings them joy.
