SILKS Class Rates please note: Aerail silks class rates are being updated to $120 per month as the class will now be 60 minutes versus 45 minutes. After now, trying the class in both a 60 min and 45 min format, we strongly feel we need to go back to the 60 min format so that students get the VERY MOST out of one class/week. Many gyms do 50 min, and we just do not feel that is enough time to conidition, learn new skills and practice a routine with this specialized genre.

  • Summer Camps: Igniting Your Dancers’ Potential

Summer Camps: Igniting Your Dancers’ Potential

On the surface, Barbie, Taylor Swift, The Little Mermaid, Christmas, the circus and Jesus might not seem to have even one common element.

But at Fluid Motion Dance Academy they do.

Each is the theme of a different summer camp this year, and signups are going on right now.

Traditionally, summer dreams involve days at the pool, fun vacations and ice cream cones. And there definitely is a place for those summer staples.

Yet for young dancers, this time of year holds special importance. At Fluid Motion Dance Academy, we give you more by offering summer camps that both entertain and instruct young dancers while preparing them for a successful future, whatever their goals and aspirations might be.

Let’s delve into why these camps are so crucial for the development of budding performers.

    1. Intensive Training: Summer camps at Fluid Motion Dance Academy provide young dancers with an intensive training experience they may not get during the regular year. With these focused sessions, dancers have the opportunity to refine their techniques, explore new styles and master different choreographies. This concentrated period of learning allows them to make significant progress in their skills and artistic expression.
    2. Diverse Styles and Techniques: Dance is a vast and diverse art form. Our summer camps expose young dancers to a wide range of dance genres, from classical ballet to acrobatics and hip-hop. By immersing themselves in different styles, dancers not only broaden their repertoire but also develop a deeper appreciation for the art form as a whole
    3. Creativity and Expression: Summer camps provide a nurturing environment where young dancers are encouraged to unleash their creativity and express themselves freely. These experiences foster confidence, self-expression, and a sense of artistic identity.
    4. Physical Fitness and Wellness: Dance is not only an art form but also a highly demanding physical activity that requires strength, flexibility and endurance. Our summer camps emphasize the importance of physical fitness and total-body wellness. By prioritizing their health and well-being, young dancers develop habits that will serve them both on and off the dance floor.
    5. Community and Friendship: Summer camps provide young dancers with the opportunity to connect with their peers in person and share in their passion for dance. Through teamwork, camaraderie and shared experiences, dancers build lasting friendships and a sense of belonging within the dance community. These bonds foster support, encouragement and a positive social environment that enriches their overall development as individuals and artists.
    6. Performance Opportunities: The culmination of our summer camps includes showcase performances where dancers have the chance to share their talents with family, friends and the community. These performances not only celebrate the hard work and dedication of the dancers but also serve as valuable learning experiences that teach them about stage presence, audience engagement and the thrill of performing live.

This summer, we have a variety of summer camp offering, from a Barbie & Ken Camp that teaches jazz, lyrical, hip-hop and pom to a Faith Dance Camp centered around spreading hope and love through the gospel.

For parents seeking to nurture their child’s passion for dance and support their growth as performers and individuals, these camps are an investment in their child’s future that yields immeasurable rewards. Click here for more information on the camps and how to sign up today

  • Giving You More: One-on-One Parent Meetings

Giving You More: One-on-One Parent Meetings

No two dancers are the same.

When you think about that logically, it makes tremendous sense. No two human beings are exactly the same, so why would two dancers be the same? Yet most dance studios treat their students similar to other students – certainly similar to other students at the same level.

That’s not the approach we take at Fluid Motion Dance Academy. When we opened this studio, we set out to give you more. Part of that promise is built on that fundamental truth that no two dancers – no two human beings – are the same.

How does that translate from our words to our actions? One of the biggest ways parents see it is through the one-on-one meetings I have with them as the owner and lead instructor of Fluid Motion Dance Academy. Every parent has the opportunity to meet with me one-on-one so we can discuss their individual child.

Gone are the days of feeling like just another face in the crowd. When you enroll your child at Fluid Motion Dance Academy, you become part of a community that values individualized care and attention. Our one-on-one meetings provide an invaluable opportunity for parents to discuss their child’s goals, aspirations and any concerns they may have. Whether your child dreams of becoming a professional dancer or simply wants to explore their creative side, we’re here to support them every step of the way.

One of the key benefits of these personalized meetings is the ability to tailor our approach to suit your child’s unique needs. From selecting the right classes and instructors to discussing finance options, we work closely with parents to create a plan that works for everyone. We understand that every family has different circumstances, and we’re committed to finding solutions that make dance education accessible to all.

Moreover, these one-on-one meetings allow us to develop a personalized plan for your child’s improvement. Whether they are struggling with a particular technique or looking to take their skills to the next level, our experienced instructors are here to help. By understanding your child’s strengths and areas for growth, we can provide targeted guidance and support that empowers them to succeed.

But our commitment to personalized attention goes beyond just the dance studio. We believe in building strong relationships with our students and their families, and that starts with open communication and transparency. Whether you have questions about our curriculum, upcoming performances or anything else, we’re always here to listen and provide guidance.

At Fluid Motion Dance Academy, we’re more than just a dance studio. We are a community dedicated to helping your child reach her full potential. Through our one-on-one meetings, parents can rest assured that their child is getting the personalized attention they deserve. From setting goals to exploring finance options and creating a plan for improvement, we’re here to support your child every step of the way.

Join us today and experience the difference personalized attention can make in your child’s dance education.
